As our nation’s 59th birthday approaches, everyone’s celebrating in their own ways. And the Singapore Flyer has hopped on the bandwagon to join in the party too with an overnight flight run, a night market with lucky draw contests, and ticketing promotions.

From August 9, 11pm, to August 10, 8am, the Singapore Flyer will be operating a non-stop overnight flight at a discounted price of $25. And August babies are in for a treat – they’ll be able to ride for free with every paying guest. Simply provide a valid photo identification with your date of birth upon entry. Apart from the 30-minute flight ride on the giant observation wheel, all passengers will also be granted entry to an immersive attraction entitled ‘Time Capsule’, one that stretches across two levels, showcasing Singapore’s storied past, present and future.

The Singapore Flyer will also be presenting ‘Street Eats Under the Stars’, a night market at the Waterfront Promenade beside the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race track, taking place from August 7 to 11. Visitors can choose from a wide variety of F&B offerings, grab a seat, and enjoy the National Day weekend. The market is open from 5pm to 11pm on August 7, 8, 10 and 11, and will run overnight on August 9 from 5pm to 3am. There will also be prizes to be won – simply scan a QR code that will be provided at the night market. Winners can enjoy tickets to Singapore Flyer’s premium experiences such as the 165 Sky Dining by Singapore Flyer, Premium Champagne Experience, and Singapore Sling Experience, as well as dining vouchers for Sky View Pavilion.

The National Day celebrations will also last till September 8 – all Singapore residents can enjoy a ticket bundle discount that includes two Singapore Flyer and Time Capsule entrance tickets at $59 instead of the regular price of $80. Tickets can be purchased through Singapore Flyer’s website, ticketing counter and kiosk, as well as the WeChat Mini Programme. Guests dining with 165 Sky Dining by Singapore Flyer on 9 August can also grab themselves a Singapore Sling cocktail add-on for a special price from $5.90.
