Singapore Design Week (SDW) returns from September 11 to 21, 2025, igniting the city with 11 days of exciting programmes. From the festival hub at the National Design Centre to dynamic Design Districts in Bras Basah.Bugis, Marina, and Orchard, as well as exciting showcases across the wider design community, SDW 2025 is one annual event creatives and design enthusiasts alike should not miss.

This year’s theme, ‘Nation by Design’, explores how thoughtful planning and innovative design have shaped Singapore into a city that is both liveable and loveable. From urban infrastructure to community spaces, design has played a key role in solving challenges and enhancing everyday life. But the journey doesn’t stop here – SDW 2025 will dive into how design continues to push boundaries to shape our future.

The Design Community (DC) Open Call is now accepting submissions, inviting designers, studios, and design-led organisations to be part of the festival. Whether through exhibitions, installations, workshops, talks, hackathons, or studio visits, the DC programme celebrates the diversity of Singapore’s design landscape. If you have a compelling idea that sparks conversations and showcases the impact of design, submit your proposal by March 26, 2025 here
