It doesn't get more 'kawaii' than this – Hello Kitty cable car cabins will soon be flying high across the Sentosa skyline. From June 1 to December 31, hitch a ride on vibrant birthday-themed Hello Kitty cable cars along the Mount Faber Line from Mount Faber Peak to Sentosa. This is part of Singapore Cable Car's 50th anniversary celebrations, which saw free rides for seniors and Pokémon-themed cable car cabins earlier in 2024

The cable car cabins are splashed in colourful Hello Kitty designs, featuring the adorable character with her friend Dear Daniel, her sister Mimmy, and their parents in a cheerful birthday-inspired setting complete with cakes and hearts.

But the Hello Kitty journey starts well before you board the cable car. A 2-metre-tall Hello Kitty sculpture dressed in a striking gold outfit waits to welcome you at Mount Faber Peak – so get your cameras ready early. Up on the boarding deck, two vintage cable cars from the first and third generation are on display. These have also been dressed up in Hello Kitty decorations to mark the Singapore Cable Car and Hello Kitty joint 50th anniversary celebration.

Get your tickets to the themed cable car experience at counters or through Mount Faber Leisure Group's (MFLG) website. Tickets cost $35 for adults and $25 for children aged 4 to 12 (free for kids below 3), covering a round-trip journey on the Mount Faber Line and Sentosa Line. For an additional $10, you get unlimited rides for one day, which will allow you to enjoy all five unique Hello Kitty cable car experiences.
