Singapore’s nature escapes are expanding, with Rainforest Wild Asia set to open in March 2025 and the highly anticipated Mandai Rainforest Resort preparing to welcome its first batch of guests this April. And here’s the latest update: bookings for the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree will open from January 24, 2025, for stays from April 2, 2025.
If you’re unfamiliar with the resort, here’s what you need to know: Starting with the standout Grand Mandai Treehouse rooms – with only 24 of them in total – these luxurious, seed-pod-inspired accommodations promise a one-of-a-kind stay surrounded by nature. All of which are equipped with a king-sized bed, a separate living area, and a private patio that opens up to serene natural views. Apart from its Grand series, the Mandai Rainforest Resort will also have a five-storey building with 314 rooms and suites, each with picturesque views of the rainforest or nearby reservoirs.
Aligned with Mandai’s commitment to sustainability, the resort incorporates eco-friendly features such as rainwater harvesting systems for bathrooms and fully operable windows to maximize natural ventilation, minimising reliance on air-conditioning.
Patrons can also look forward to two distinctive dining experiences – Forage and Planter’s Shed – along with rejuvenating treatments at the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa. The resort’s prime location also offers easy access to Mandai Singapore’s renowned zoological parks, including the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, and the soon-to-open Rainforest Wild Asia.
