If you don't already know what the Secret Theatre Project is then here's a brief low-down without giving too much away. It's a site-specific immersive theatre concept by London-based group Secret Studio Lab, which allows the audience to witness a story unfold and be part of its narrative.
Heading to Singapore for the first time in May – the show has travelled to cities like Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York – the theatrical experience is set to be the 'first of its kind' in our city. And as its name suggests, everything about it is, well, a secret.
No information about the performance, including its plot or theme, is revealed to participants until the day of the show. Ticket holders will only be given a location, password and a dress code to unlock the mystery of the secret world. Previous shows include an adaptation of Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and Se7en Deadly Sins, which had the audience ride a speedboat to get to a haunted mansion.
