Fans of the popular bakery Dona Bakehouse are in luck – the bakery is currently having a pop-up in Singapore, so you don’t have to travel all the way to Johor Bahru this weekend just to have a bite of its signature croissants. The pop-up is held at Wren Café, and will run from now until July 21, 2024, from 8.30am to 4pm daily.
For the uninitiated, Dona Bakehouse is known for its wide variety of artisanal croissants and pastries, and you’ll find its bakes sold out by the early afternoon at its JB outlet. So if you’re thinking about heading down to try the pastries, be sure to get there early.
Get your hands on popular menu items like the pistachio rose croissant ($6.80), raspberry blossom cruffin ($5.80), and the bagel with ham, egg, and cheese ($11). However, if you’re heading to the pop-up, you have to get the decadent Ferrero Rocher danish ($6) and the savoury lemongrass chicken pain suisse ($6.80). These two pastries are pop-up exclusives, so grab them before they run out – it’s unlikely they’ll be sold at the JB outlet in the future.
