Update Do you smell something sweet? That's American bakery Cinnabon, which soft launched at Raffles City today after much bated breath. If you missed it, you can still head down on Wednesday (February 8) from 11am to 2pm to get your hands on one of 200 Cinnapacks available. Each of these bundles include four classic Cinnabons or bite-sized Minibons, and each customer is limited to just three packs. If you've got the patience, you can wait for Cinnabon's grand opening on February 9 instead, happening at #B1-60 from 11am to 8.30pm – or while rolls last.
December 14, 2022 Seattle is known for many things but the world-famous American chain bakery Cinnabon is a certified OG when it comes to cinnamon rolls. You'd see these iconic swirls all across America and even making appearances on the big screens of Hollywood. And now, word got out that they'll be arriving in Singapore by February 2023 with their first-ever outlet at Raffles City. For the uninitiated, Cinnabon claims the title of being the sweetest brand in the world and has over 1200 operating chains in 50 countries worldwide.
And their signature? The Cinnabon classic roll. It is essentially a palm-sized freshly baked cinnamon roll slathered with that inimitable gooey cream cheese frosting and served warm. The secret to this global sensation may be the use of Makara cinnamon, a one-of-a-kind luscious sweet flavour derived from cassia trees in the tropical forests of Indonesia. The chain is also known to offer seasonal toppings such as chocolate chips or pecans and has a range of artisanal coffees and frozen treats.
Fans would all agree that the best part about Cinnabon, besides sinking your teeth into those fluffy rolls, is the smell of the rolls baking in the oven. It is said to be irresistible, which teases your senses further and makes the experience of visiting a Cinnabon bakery even more enjoyable. Now, all that's left to do is to keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates on their Instagram page.
