This one’s for the self-professed carnivores and ardent meat-lovers; While there are numerous amazing steakhouses in Singapore, the debate on which is most deserving of your calorie limit is now over, as one name has emerged as one of the best steakhouses in the world.
Based on a list by Upper Cut Media House in London, Singapore’s Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse has not only come in at 38th place out of a total list of 101 – it’s also deemed as the best steak restaurant in all of Asia.
In fact, only two other steakhouses in Asia have made the cut, and both happen to be from Hong Kong: Fireside which ranks 70th, and The Steakhouse, which clinches the final spot at number 101.
The top three spots are spread all over other continents: Parrilla Don Julio from Argentina, Bodega El Capricho from Spain, and Margaret from Australia. Right after that comes New York’s Cote at fourth place – it’s worth noting that Singapore has its very own Cote outpost at Orchard Road, so you won’t have to travel far in order to savour their flavoursome Korean steaks.
Other than the quality and selection of meat served, a couple of other judging criteria such as the interiors, wine list, and meat expertise of the service crew were used when considering the various meaty contenders.
Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse is located in a preserved shophouse at Mohamed Sultan Road, a stone’s throw from the Robertson Quay area and Fort Canning MRT station. Whether you choose a seat at the swanky and dark indoor area or breezy outdoor deck, this beauty of an establishment is sure to impress on date night.
