Pet-friendly malls are few and far between in Singapore. If you’re a pet owner, you’ll know the pain of having to leave your pet at home when going for a grocery run, or the inconvenience or placing them in carriers to access most spaces in the mall. At the newly-opened One Holland Village, things are a lot different. Designed as a welcoming open-air space, it has a slew of special features that cater specially to you and your pooches.

Located just five minutes from Holland Village MRT, One Holland Village is littered with multiple courtyards where pet owners and fur babies can freely rest and roam. Other design features that offer convenience to pet owners: pet-friendly water coolers to remove the hassle of carrying water bowls around, pet lifts that allow your senior pets with joint pain or pets with disabilities to access different floors without having to carry them, and hooks outside of shops so you can easily leash your pets before heading inside.

One Holland Village is shaping up to be a trendy spot filled with popular brands and restaurants too. For starters, Surrey Hills Grocer has opened a branch here with an in-house pet store, Furry Hills – perfect for a pet-friendly mall. Popular sushi restaurant Sushi Tei is moving their pioneer outlet at Holland Village to One Holland Village as well, marking a new chapter and creating a space for families and friends to come together over a meal of classic Japanese dishes.

Also swing by to check out new restaurants alongside the ones we are already familiar with. One exciting addition is Fireplace by Bedrock, a cosy open wood-fired grill restaurant that is perfect for a special occasion with friends and family. The restaurant also has a pet-friendly alfresco dining area to ensure that your furry pal can join in on the fun. Another new restaurant to look forward to is Ginkyō, a casual Japanese fusion bistro by the folks behind Kinki Restaurant + Bar at Customs House.

Popular ramen restaurant Ippudo and Korean supermarket Shine Korea will also be opening a new outlet at One Holland Village, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates on the mall’s Instagram account. Find out more about One Holland Village and its events at their official website.
