Marimekko’s bold floral prints are practically a fashion landmark – impossible to miss and unmistakably theirs. Now, the Finnish design house is expanding its ever-growing garden with 25 brand-new floral patterns, each crafted by different artists. These fresh blooms will make their grand debut in Field of flowers, a touring pop-up exhibition kicking off in Osaka before making its way across Asia to cities like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and of course, Singapore. The exhibition will take place in Takashimaya from April 7 to 23, 2025.

Each artist will design five different types of print, showcasing a diverse interpretation of floral – from the eye-catching collages of Antti Kekki to the dynamic textiles of Masaru Suzuki. Textile and print designer Eija Vehviläinen, along with illustrator-designers Aino-Maija Metsola and Erja Hirvi, will also be debuting their prints for Marimekko at the upcoming touring pop-up.

Information has been kept to a minimum as of now, but it is most likely that merchandise will be available for purchase at the pop-up too. To stay updated, you can sign up at Marimekko’s site, follow them on Instagram, and stay tuned to our page for more updates.

Here’s the itinerary for Marimekko's Field of flowers touring pop-up exhibition:

Hankyu Umeda in Osaka: March 5 to 11
Central Embassy in Bangkok: March 13 to 23
Takashimaya in Singapore: April 7 to 13
Pavilion in Kuala Lumpur: April 21 to 27
