LEGO's Architecture Skyline Collection has a new addition and it's none other than Singapore. With Singapore 21057, you can now build iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay and Fullerton Hotel Singapore.

Launching on January 1, 2022, this set is generating interest as it's the first Southeast Asian skyline to make the collection. Represent! It's pretty cool to see miniature versions of other architectural icons like the OCBC Centre, One Raffles Place, Lau Pa Sat and the shophouses lining the Singapore River at Boat Quay. Measuring out at 16cm by 28cm by 9cm, it's also the perfect size to display in the living room.

There's been discussion over the choice of landmarks though. Some question the addition of the OCBC Centre, while The Merlion is a distinct – and puzzling – omission. LEGO enthusiasts have also expressed some unhappiness over the colour scheme, which is repeated across buildings in the Singapore Skyline set. This contrasts with the Tokyo Skyline set for example, where each building has its distinct colour palette.

There's tons of interesting architecture in Singapore, so all we can say is – there's probably no agreeing on what best represents the country. Check out our stories on other amazing buildings in Singapore and tell us what you would have liked to see in the LEGO Singapore Skyline Set!
