Bubble tea is an institution in Singapore, as seen by the dozens of bubble tea chains that have popped up here over the years. Today, one of Taiwan’s largest bubble tea joints with over 280 outlets officially opens its doors in the new Taste Orchard mall

The brand’s name is a Taiwanese saying that translates to “are you thirsty?”, and its story began in 2008 as a humble stall in Xiangshang Market, Taichung. Currently, it only has one other international outlet in Hong Kong, and its latest outlet at Taste Orchard is its first in Southeast Asia.

The chain takes pride in its tea which is freshly brewed daily in intervals of four hours, with signature flavours like the black tea (from $3.20), black tea latte (from $4.90), and brown sugar pearl black tea latte (from $5.70) which uses three times the usual amount of tea leaves to achieve a more robust flavour.

To mark its launch, Kebuke is also debuting six Singapore-exclusive bubble tea flavours, including a brand new fruit tea series. These include the Biscoff black tea latte (from $5.60), featuring Sri Lankan black tea and a cup lined with Biscoff spread; the rice oolong milk tea (from $4.70); and the Proton Fruit Tea Series (from $5.80) which sees tea poured over frozen fruit cubes. These come in flavours like Jasmine green tea with strawberry or mango, Jasmine green tea latte with strawberry, and milk latte with mango.

There will also be a series of opening promotions to look forward to. Simply follow Kebuke’s Instagram page to redeem these offers. On June 9 and 10, enjoy a one-for-one deal on the Signature black tea (June 9) and rice oolong milk tea (June 10). You can also enjoy free upsizes on the Classic Tea Series and Proton Tea Series from June 11 to 16, and June 18 to 20 respectively. And from June 21 onwards, you can redeem a free Kebuke tote bag with a purchase of a large-sized Proton strawberry and Proton Mango drink.

Kebuke is open daily from 11am to 10pm at 160 Orchard Road, #01-11/12, Singapore 238842.
