The well-known Japanese-style Taiwanese bakery Hazukido, which already has several outlets around the world in countries such as Canada, Hong Kong and Malaysia, will be making its way to our shores. They are set to open their doors by August 2024, in the basement of Takashimaya.

Despite what their name might suggest, Hazukido was actually founded in Taiwan. The bakery is renowned for its Japanese-style pastries, particularly its flaky French croissants. They also pride themselves in following the Japanese culinary philosophy: using only the finest ingredients and baking their pastries fresh on-site daily to ensure top quality and freshness.

Croissant connoisseurs will be particularly excited about this one – Hazukido offers over 20 unique flavour selections on their website, so it’s safe to say that Singaporeans can anticipate indulging in these delights right here in Singapore too. Some of their flavours include the earl grey bubble croissant, seaweed meat floss croissant, durian custard croissant, hazelnut chocolate croissant, caramel pudding croissant, brown sugar mochi croissant, taro and pudding croissant, and honey apple croissant.
