Tickets for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will be available for public sale at 10am from April 13 onwards, as announced by race organiser Singapore Grand Prix (GP). The event is set to take place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from September 30 to October 2.
A spokesperson for Singapore GP said, "The popularity of Formula 1 has been skyrocketing thanks in part to the thrilling season last year which saw a close battle between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, as well as the much-followed Drive to Survive documentary series on Netflix. The excitement is set to continue this year with the resurgence of Ferrari. Their incredible performance at the opening race this season, as well as those of Haas and Alfa Romeo will keep fans at the edge of their seats."

Entertainment lineup
A full entertainment line-up for the event will be released in the coming weeks, said Singapore GP. Previous artists include Dua Lipa, Adam Lambert, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Pharrell Williams.
The Singapore GP spokesperson said, "We are working to confirm a fantastic programme that will excite and delight fans at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The full entertainment line-up will be released as soon as possible. Singapore GP is working with the Singapore government to formulate a plan to safely conduct the event in line with prevailing safe management measures."
About the F1 contract
This is the fourth contract renewal for Singapore, which means Singapore will be the host for the next seven years, the longest duration granted for renewal to date, according to Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore GP. Transport Minister S Iswaran said that the renewal will “help sustain Singapore’s reputation as a global city with a vibrant lifestyle”. The Singapore Grand Prix was cancelled back in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.
A double header?
There have been rumours during the recent Australian GP that Singapore might be hosting two back-to-back races though this was played down by Singapore GP. Regardless, we're sure it will be an enjoyable affair. The Singapore GP spokesperson also added that there will be some enhanced experiences this year.
"At the moment, fans can register their interest for a variety of grandstand offerings and combination packages that will enable them to experience the exciting race action and off-track entertainment from different parts of the Circuit Park over the three days. Hospitality suites will provide a new level of comfort as well as viewing opportunities with a slew of enhancements lined up for this year. Patrons can choose to network or host guests at the exclusive Formula 1 Paddock Club, Sky Suite, The Green Room, and Lounge@Turn 3."
They added, "The track layout of the Marina Bay Street Circuit remains the same as in previous years. We are curating an exciting experience for our ticketholders to enhance the festive atmosphere that fans of the F1 night race look forward to each year. More details will be unveiled in the coming months."
