Dempsey Hill is turning up the festive charm this year, transforming its historic barracks into a dazzling holiday wonderland. Imagine this: 1860s-era buildings, once home to British military activity, now glowing with Christmas spirit.

At the heart of the festivities stands an 8-metre-tall Christmas tree, dressed in candy cane-inspired decorations. Over at Loewen by Dempsey Hill, the magic continues with twinkling lights and ornaments, offering several photo-taking opportunities.

The celebrations will peak at the Christmas Square on December 20, 21, and 24, 2024, from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, where the festive spirit will be in full swing. Families, groups of friends, and solo revellers can indulge in a variety of activities designed to spread cheer – from strolling through enchanting light displays to enjoying live performances by Alexandra Hsieh. Visitors can also capture memories with Santa and Santarina at the photo booth or take home a fun caricature portrait as a keepsake.

There will also be several activities: craft your own Christmas stocking, get glitter tattoos, try your hand at balloon sculpting, or head to the card-making stations to write heartfelt Christmas messages.

And here’s a cherry on top of all that holiday fun: Dempsey Hill is hosting a lucky draw. To participate, simply spend $50 or more. Rewards include exclusive vouchers at the Christmas Square on the event days.
