Cineleisure, known as the place to be for a simple hang, catching a movie with friends, and shopping at weekend flea markets, has added a variety of fresh tenant offerings such as Skypark by Kiztopia, Equilibrium, Karpenko Gymnastics Academy, The Ride Side, Golden Village x The Projector, Gelare and Chil Chil.
“We are excited that Cineleisure is taking shape to be the gourmetainment hub in Orchard Road. Friends and families can literally spend an entire day enjoying a myriad of experiences at our curated tenant mix combining quality entertainment and dining options,” shared Cineleisure’s spokesperson.
While the mall has remained relatively quiet for a considerable duration, it is gradually regaining momentum and repositioning itself as the go-to destination, particularly for fitness enthusiasts. A huge bulk of their new occupants are fitness-related studios and shops catering to all ages. It is now home to the extensive indoor dynamic play park, Skypark by Kiztopia, a playground-paradise spanning 8,000 square feet. Here, children will be able to participate in interactive sports activities such as rock climbing and high elements.
For aspiring young gymnasts, check out the Karpenko Gymnastics Academy, Singapore's first elite rhythmic gymnastics academy. This academy specialises in competitive gymnastics, adhering to the highest standards of Russian-style rhythmic and general gymnastics tailored for children. Those with an interest in martial arts can explore Equilibrium, a studio providing classes ranging from boxing and Muay Thai to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, all led by instructors with champion-level expertise.
Other fitness studios occupying the mall include Body Fit Training (BFT), Bounce, Revolution, Star Elite Fitness, Sugar Boxing and Hale Yoga.
The Ride Side, an adventure-sports store, has also opened in Cineleisure. This store is a stone’s throw away from their newest establishment Trifecta, Singapore’s first surf-snow-skate facility. You’ll be able to find gears and merchandise for snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding and more.
In addition to the fitness establishments, there are also new and exciting entertainment experiences, like the collaboration between Golden Village and The Projector, which has taken over the Cathay space at Cineleisure. This cinema will showcase a diverse range of films, featuring both blockbuster hits and independent films.
Cineleisure also welcomes a variety of new food vendors, including the dessert kiosk Milk & Cookies x Famous Amos. This kiosk offers soft serves and milkshakes that feature Famous Amos' signature cookies. Gelare's new café concept has also secured a spot in the mall, providing a wider range of dessert options. Among the dining choices is Chil Chil, a restaurant specialising in affordable Thai cuisine.
The mall is also now officially a designated busking spot in partnership with National Arts Council Busking Scheme, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for live street performances that will bring the Somerset belt to life.
