Giant panda Le Le is turning one this August! To mark this special occasion, River Wonders is throwing a month-long Panda-stic Party for this furry bundle of joy. Look forward to light installations, amazing displays, panda mascots, panda-themed edible treats and activities in an all-new day to night experience. Visitors can also expect a bamboo-inspired birthday cake display that’s specially designed for the birthday cub. Come nightfall, admire the spectacular fireworks display at River Wonders.
Pen down your well wishes for the birthday cub and capture memories with the Giant Panda mascots at the thematic Instagrammable photo points around the park. Create your own Glo-Art masterpieces and get your creative juices flowing at the different craft activity stops. Also, spot the adorable Le Le with mom Jia Jia at the Giant Panda Forest exhibit as it scales trees effortlessly and explores novel enrichment items.
When night falls, walk through the Bamboo Forest and Lantern Tunnel and be dazzled by the glowing decorations. Stroll along the Amazonia Boardwalk as you discover fun facts about the Giant Pandas, and meet some of the animal ambassador stars from the Once Upon a River animal presentation on operating nights. If crafts excite you, check out the LED Canvas Art or Shadow Box Light Art workshops. Look out for the illuminated art installations by local students.
The Mama Panda Kitchen offers sweet treats like the specially curated Panda macarons and cookies for you to nibble on. And if you’re looking to bring home mementos of your trip, the River Wonders Shop has an array of panda-themed collectibles curated for Le Le’s birthday.
Single park tickets for the River Wonders Panda-stic Party (Night) are at $20 (adult) and $14 (child) for admission from 7.30pm to 11.30pm. You can also get tickets for the River Wonders (Day) + River Wonders Panda-stic Party (Night) Bundle, at $60 (adult) and $40 (child).
