If you’re tired of catching a show through your laptop screen, here’s some good news: cinemas in Singapore are reopening their doors very soon. Come July 13, selected movie theatres can welcome film buffs once again – with social distancing measures in place, of course. Each hall has a maximum capacity of no more than 50 viewers, and those from different social groups of no more than five people will have to be seated at least one metre apart from each other.

Besides the unintentional perk of being able to catch a blockbuster without the crowd of a jam-packed theatre, Golden Village is also sweetening the deal for movie-goers with an affordable movie pass promotion. The M Pass, which goes for $25, lets you redeem up to four movie tickets within the span of three months. This works out to an attractive $6.25 per movie – that’s even cheaper than the price of a student ticket.

However, the M Pass can only be used on a select list of 20 titles, most of which aren’t the latest blockbusters. Still, it’s the perfect excuse to catch up on films you’ve missed, including Pitch Perfect 3SkyscraperJurassic World: Fallen Kingdom21 Bridges, and more.

Tickets can be redeemed from Monday to Sunday, excluding the eve of and public holidays. GV and Klook members can also purchase this movie pass at a promotional rate of $20.

HOW TO ORDER Head over to Golden Village’s online store or Klook’s website to make a purchase
