Families, don’t miss this. The Emmy award-winning theatre sensation Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show will debut in Asia at Singapore’s Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from 13 June 2024. The popular show premiered in Bluey's hometown, Brisbane, and has seen sell-out shows across Australia, the UK, Ireland and North America.

Originally a television series launched in 2018 by Ludo Studio, the show has seen successes such as being awarded the best animated series at the Kidscreen Awards in 2023. It also currently ranks as the number one children’s show in Australia and the number one rated show on CBeebies in the UK. Now, Bluey’s Big Play has been adapted into a theatre show.

For those that are not quite familiar with Bluey, Bluey is a loveable Blue Heeler dog who lives with her mum, dad and little sister. She often takes her audiences on adventures by playing games that unfold in unpredictable ways. Also, here’s another fun fact that made the show so popular: as the main characters and background scenes of the television show are done with specific shades of colours that cater to a dog's vision, this means that dogs are able to see the colours in the animation series.

At Bluey’s Big Play, audiences will get to see characters Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad live in action against impressive designed sets. This theatre show will be based on a fresh original story written by creator Joe Brumm, with accompanying new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush.

“The response to the show from fans across Australia, the U.S.A and the UK and Ireland has been nothing short of amazing and we can't wait for families in Singapore to experience all the fun and excitement of having Bluey and her family on stage live in their city,” says Director Rosemary Myers of Windmill Theatre Company.

Tickets to Blue’s Big Play can be purchased via Marina Bay Sands Ticketing and SISTIC. Maybank Cardmembers are entitled to Early Bird Access with a discount of 15% when they purchase tickets from February 26 to March 31, 2024.
