Blue Bottle Coffee, a specialty coffee brand known for its artisanal brews and minimalistic blue logo, will be opening its doors in Singapore this month. It will be part of the Japanese concept store Lumine at Raffles City which is slated to open on August 27.

However, don’t come expecting freshly brewed coffee. Instead, the brand will be operating a gift shop featuring an extensive selection of Blue Bottle products. Expect to see a wide range of drinkware and merchandise from cute coffee mugs to tumblers, bottles and tote bags. Thankfully, you’ll still be able to pick up packets of its craft instant coffee blends, espresso, tins of ceremonial grade Uji matcha from Japan, as well as coffee accessories.

Blue Bottle Coffee started as a small artisanal roaster in Oakland, California in the early 2000s, and later become one of the pioneering brands of the third-wave coffee movement. It currently has over 100 cafés worldwide and a loyal fan base in Japan.

If you’re planning to head down, you can also check out the other Japanese brands in the new Lumine global flagship store. Renowned fashion brands like Beams, United Arrows, Tomorrowland, Fray I.D., Snidel, And Couture, Elendeek, Spick & Span, and Le Talon are among some of the names featured in the shop. Lumine is also partnering with Japan’s Fukui Prefecture to showcase a line of craft and lifestyle products from the region.
