Singaporeans are more than familiar with Beauty in The Pot or 'BITP' as it's affectionately called – a Chinese hotpot restaurant by the household brand Paradise Group. Whether it's for a birthday celebration, a special occasion, or just a casual supper, locals have no problem filling up the tables at any of its locations islandwide.
To celebrate the reopening of its outlet at The Centrepoint, Orchard, Beauty in The Pot will be collaborating with a popular Korean barbecue restaurant, Hanjip Korean Grill House for the first time. From June 24 to August 31, step into any Beauty in The Pot outlet to enjoy limited-time menu items and a Korean-inspired dining experience.
Highlights include a special kimchi shrimp broth ($10.80) which features Beauty in The Pot's signature shrimp base and Hanjip's signature kimchi simmered in a rich pork bone-based broth. You'll also get to snack on Korean side dishes like crispy shimeji mushrooms ($9.90) which come in two flavors – sweet and spicy, and soy garlic, as well as traditional Korean banchan like beansprouts and anchovies. And for the first time, you'll be able to order soju at the hotpot establishment. The Chorong Chorong fruity green tea soju tower ($25.90) will be available throughout the collaboration period for diners to get a taste of the refreshing mix of grape-flavoured soju and green tea.
And it's not just the menus that will be spiked with a Korean twist. Expect all Beauty in The Pot outlets to be decked out in Korean flags, and the service crew to adorn traditional Korean attire. Not to mention, your favorite K-Pop songs will also be playing in the background.
