Singapore has no shortage of hawker centres, but we’re always ready to welcome another one since it means more affordable food options available at our fingertips. Today, the new Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre begins its operations at Sengkang. The eatery is located just beside Farmway LRT and is adjacent to the recently opened Anchorvale Village mall.

Visitors can expect an expansive seating area with 192 tables and 650 seats. A total of 36 stalls –  including three drinks, juices and dessert stalls – will be operating there. Foodies can look forward to Hong Kong style chee cheong fun from the Michelin Selected Pin Wei, as well as other local delights like old-school fried wings from Eng Kee Chicken Wings paired with economic bee hoon. Other highlights include Original Simon Road Hokkien Mee, 97 Nasi Lemak, Biryani Grill, Kawan Bowl, China Whampoa Homemade Noodles, and the renowned min jiang kueh brand Munchi Pancake.

The hawker centre is also keeping things affordable to cater to all patrons. A cup of Kopi O or Teh O goes at $1, and the signature breakfast sets start from as low as $2.20. Each food stall will also be offering value meal options from $3.50 and below if you’re on a budget.

Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre is now open daily from 6.30am to 10pm at 339 Anchorvale Rd, Level 2, Singapore 540339.
