Missed the Perseid Meteor Shower that happened in August? Here's your chance to get your dose of stargazing done before the year is up. The Geminid Meteor Shower is happening tonight from 7.30pm, and it's said to be the brightest and most spectacular shower of the year.
The Geminid is visible to the naked eye but for a better view, head to these stargazing spots in Singapore to catch the show – just note that neither the Science Centre Observatory nor the Astronomical Society of Singapore are conducting viewings today. The shower is at its most radiant from 8.30pm to midnight but will light up the sky till sunrise on Saturday.
However, as you may well know, the weather in Singapore hasn't been all that great this week. We only get a view of the meteor shower if the sky is clear – so keep your fingers crossed that the rain goes away and comes again on another day.
