The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions

This female-fronted music festival is back for its sophomore edition and this time, it’s bigger and better. Organised by 24OWLS, the collective manned by the same people behind Laneway Festival, the five-day extravaganza not only spotlights women-fronted acts but it also brings a series of complementary programmes all focused on celebrating female talent across the fields of art, design and film. This year’s festival line-up consists of international and local acts playing a delightful mix of RnB, pop, indie and more. Headliners include Korean-American multi-instrumentalist Luna Li, Japanese ambient folk artist Ichiko Aoba and South Korean producer and DJ Didi Han. In addition, the event will also feature arts and lifestyle scenes ­– films made by women and about women, and artworks made by women, of course.
