Known as one of the world's longest-running anime series and boasting a fanbase potentially larger than that of Singapore is the beloved One Piece, and this 2024 marks its 25th anniversary. One Piece fans have seen how the anime has evolved since its founding years in 1999. And for those that aren’t quite sure what we're talking about, one google search will reveal the stark difference in the drawing style of protagonist Luffy in the past and present.
To commemorate this milestone, the talented musicians from the orchestra company The Wild Faery will be putting on a live orchestral performance featuring some of the anime's most iconic tracks, such as We Are!, Sai sai saikyo!!!, Oitsumerareta, and Binks no Sake. This is part of their One Piece Music Symphony World Tour, where they will be pit-stopping in other cities like Seoul, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Berlin, Jakarta, and Paris.
The performance will also be accompanied by a giant screen projection showcasing snippets of the Straw Hat Crew’s adventures. This interesting touch is unique to this orchestra company. Other concerts they have done include soundtracks from big-name movies such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean.
