The Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra is returning to the Botanic Gardens for another swingin' showcase, featuring highlights from the band's most recent repertoire. Music director Jeremy Monteiro, who has played at the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall, leads the band with a rendition of his original composition Mount Olive.
Visitors can also look forward to a range of soulful tunes from classic jazz standards to the rhythmic, pulsating beats of Latin and Brazilian jazz. The showcase features the talents of guest vocalists Alemay Fernandez, Louis Soliano and, in an unusual link-up, local rapper TheLionCityBoy.
