Time Out says

As UNESCO International Jazz Day falls on April 30, jazz maestros are coming together online to celebrate the joys of jazz with the music lovers. This year, Jazz Association - SG (JASS) is combining forces with The Straits Times (ST), for JASS@Home, a virtual music festival uniting people from around the world through the beauty of jazz.

Be serenaded by seasons musicians and performers, led by local jazz pianist, singer, composer and music educator Jeremy Monteiro. He is joined by veteran jazz songbird Alemay Fernandez, a household name for jazz lovers in Singapore. Join forces with other jazz lovers in an online jam session featuring a swinging version of folk song Singapura, as a tribute to frontline workers in Singapore, and enjoy a special performance by Grammy award winner Randy Brecker on the trumpet. Also, don't miss performances by Weixiang Tan, Christy Smith and Tamagoh.

Stay tuned to Kerong Chok and Aya Sekine as they demystify jazz composition for you in a joint panel discussion alongside Jeremy and Weixiang. There are also interviews with jazz stalwarts Aileen Tan from Blu Jaz Café and Peter Ng from Maduro about running local jazz establishments, as well as a presentation of the 2020 JASS Scholarship in all its virtual glory.

So get your best dancing shoes on and tune into the live-streaming of Jass@Home on Jass's YouTube channel and social media channels at 8.30 pm tonight. You can also watch the broadcast on ST's Facebook, YouTube and Twitter channels.
