Happy Chinese New Year Concert

Continue to ride on the festive spirit with Chinese classical music backed by the Ding Yi ensemble and led by assistant conductor Wong De Li, Dedric. Highlights include Percussionist Derek Koh Wen Jun's premiere of his own composition titled Flushing Chinatown, specially commissioned for the concert. He is also joined by huqin musician Chia Wan Hua who's debuting her first solo performance. Expect refreshing renditions of familiar favourites such as Law Kin Pong’s Another Plum Blossom and Wang Chenwei’s Cantonese Medley. Keep your eyes peeled for a special guest appearance by local singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono.
