Founded by Chef Jason Lim of Men-Tei Ramen in 2013, The Eureka Cooking Lab isn't just a cooking school, it's a private restaurant, event space and photoshoot venue all rolled into one sleek package. With a fully equipped kitchen with the newest cooking and baking materials, and a mock 36-seater restaurant, Eureka aims to provide a comfortable, exclusive space for parties, business networking events and the such. Tours are available and bookings can be made online.
Students not only learn how to cook, they also learn how to develop and run a culinary business after acquiring the cooking skills. Eureka specialises in Japanese ramen classes for professionals, aiming to impart skills to create the perfect ramen in a commercial setting. Following the cooking lessons, students have the option of taking up business consultation sessions, which includes a one-day attachment to a ramen store to see what it's really like. Classes are limited to six participants and are conducted over two to four days, depending on whether students opt for the consultation sessions. Fees range from $1000 to $4000.
