Time Out says

It's hard to focus on your fear of heights at Houbii Spot, a high-element rope course located in Singapore Zoo. That's because it's set in the lush and natural Mandai rainforest, with stunning views of Upper Seletar Reservoir. There's just no time to feel afraid when you're busy admiring the scenery from up high.

Houbii originates in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Houbii Spot being the sister company in Singapore. After a revamp, it is now open again with more thrilling courses and dynamic experiences for kids, friends, and family. Guests can take on two rope courses at Houbii Spot: accompany your little tot (120cm and below) on the Mini Rope Course and problem solve together through 14 obstacles; or take on The Real Thing (for 120cm and above), which has 74 exhilarating obstacles including Tarzan-like swinging ropes that will challenge even the bravest adults.

Houbii Spot claims that such rope courses boost coordination and mobility, reduce stress, and even train leadership skills. Either way, it makes for a wholesome day out with the family on weekends or during the school holidays. If this is something that you can see yourself doing regularly, you can sign up for a 6-month membership that starts at $56. Otherwise, you can do the Mini Rope Course for $20/person and The Real Thing for $25/person, which you can buy on the spot.

Houbii Spot is open daily from 10am to 5.15pm – and take note, you need a Singapore Zoo ticket to enter. To find out more about Houbii Spot, visit its official website
