What better way to support your child’s education than with a holiday camp chock-full of good creative fun? Worklab offers a variety of camps but of the many, two of the most popular ones are MyCamp and Robocamp.
The technology-themed MyCamp gives kids aged six to 12 the opportunity to create their own camp experience. It begins by selecting three to six out of 11 projects: young ones can build and programme a 3D model of a real life smart house, design their own video game or stage a runway show for their fashion label.
Alternatively, Robocamp junior (for six to eight years old) and senior (for nine to 12 years old) focuses on robotics with hands-on activities such as learning scientific concepts through building a LEGO robot. Sounds too easy? Kids'll also have to use robot mechanics to form solutions to challenges in the Robobattle.
Children's Worklab also offers weekly weekend classes (from $330) in engineering, robotics and animation. For the engineering and robotics courses, kids will learn and apply key concepts through the use of LEGO sets to construct a variety of mechanisms.
