Marina Bay Sands’ new nail parlour and spa is a little hard to find – it’s tucked away in a secluded corner, close to the coach bay area. Once you’re there, however, it’s hard to miss: two units decked out in monochrome, complete with a chandelier each, padded walls and plush leather seats. Between them are three manicure stations, six chairs for pedis or reflexology, two facial and body treatment beds, and two private rooms that can be requested for at no extra charge.
The services offered include a range of nail and skin care, facials, and foot and body reflexology. We opted for a classic pedicure ($55/45 min) and foot reflexology ($120/60 min) combo, but were made to wait a good 20 minutes or so even after making an appointment. Still, the reclining chair we settled into was comfortable enough for a nap.
The nail products used are from Orly, Gellyfit and Lechat, while Mayex and Comfort Zone are slathered on for skin and body care. Facials like the moisturising Hydra Memory ($98/60 min) and Skin Regimen Longevity ($188/30 min), which claims to even skin tone, puts the ‘spa’ in this establishment’s name.
