Middle East Film Festival

Peep into the Middle East’s film industry with a curated collection of movies by the region's filmmakers. Presented by the Middle East Institute at the National University of Singapore with the support of the Singapore Film Society, the festival returns with six outstanding films from Afghanistan, Algeria, Israel, Morocco, Tunisia, and Turkey on Shaw Theatres' streaming platform, Shaw KinoLounge. Highlights include The Orphanage which follows an Afghanistani teen who sells cinema tickets on the black market, and A Son where the 10-year-old son of a Tunisian couple on holiday is accidentally shot in a terrorist ambush.
