Based on author Patrick Ness’ young adult novel of the same name, A Monster Calls is a fantasy drama film that follows the life of a young boy, Conor O’Malley (Lewis MacDougall), as he deals with school bullies and his mother’s (Felicity Jones) terminal illness. But one fateful encounter with the Monster (voiced by Liam Neeson) takes him on an epic journey of bravery, love and loss.
