Rap and hip hop would not be the empowering cultural forces they are if not for the legendary gangsta rap crew N.W.A. Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella, changed the game forever. And now, thanks to director F. Gary Gray, their legacy has been immortalized in gritty, cinematic fashion in ‘Straight Outta Compton’, which opens in cinemas islandwide on October 8.
