Time Out says

Calling the BTS Army – there's a new concert movie coming to a cinema near you. Earlier this month, the K-Pop superstars announced the release date for its fourth feature film Break The Silence: The Movie. It's set to hit theatres worldwide in limited screenings from September 10.

In Singapore, BTS stans can fangirl at all Golden Village (GV) cinemas until September 13. But if you can't get enough, selected cinemas including Bedok, Tiong Bahru, Jurong Point, Bishan, City Square, and Great World City have added more screenings until September 16.

Directed by Park Jun-soo, the film reveals the "untold story of BTS" through unprecedented access as the K-Pop septet takes on the world for its 2019 Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour. The film showcases the juxtaposition between the group's onstage performances and offstage shenanigans. But it also shines the spotlight on another side of BTS, where the seven members break out from their shell to reveal their personal stories BTS (behind the scenes).

BTS has enjoyed a meteoric rise since it first burst into the scene in 2013 with its debut single 2 Cool 4 Skool. The group then became a global phenomenon in 2018 with its ultra-catchy single Idol which comes with an eye-popping colourful music video. Since then, BTS has been breaking records, playing sold-out arenas, and taking over cinemas with feature films worldwide.

Not just any concert movie, Break The Silence: The Movie is a sequel to Bring The Soul: The Movie, which was released last year. The 2019 film follows the group during the European leg of its Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour, and features the members performing their signature hyper-synchronised dance moves and chart-topping songs, as well as reflecting on the concert series offstage.

Relive the movie magic as it returns to Golden Village Plaza and VivoCity for a limited time from August 28 to 30, leading up to the release of Break The Silence. Tickets for the rerun are priced at $18 for GV Movie Club members and $20 for the public. Advance tickets for the latest film are also available at $22 for GV Movie Club members and $24 for the public. Plus, each ticket purchased comes with a free limited edition commemorative postcard that's redeemable while stocks last.
