Tony Award-winning British choreographer Matthew Bourne’s reinterpretation of classic Sleeping Beauty has travelled across Britain and the States to finally land on the shores of Singapore. Sleeping Beauty completes Bourne’s trio of re-imagined Tchaikovsky ballets, which began with Nutcracker! and continued with 1995’s Swan Lake, which is the world’s longest running ballet production. Look out for the specially designed costumes and sets, which promise to be lavish reflections of the Edwardian era. Staged as part of Esplanade’s da:ns series.
