Coming Out Loud

Time Out says

Stand-up comedy is more than bringing you pure entertainment – many comedians use their stage time to weave in social commentary, tell their stories, and shed light on the matters that are close to their hearts. For local comedian Sam See, the platform allows him to recount the trials and tribulations of being openly gay in Singapore – with his clever wit, no less. Watch him tell it like it is in Coming Out Loud, Asia's first independently produced LGBTQ+-themed comedy special. The special is set to be screened live on Zoom at 9pm on August 7, before its worldwide release at midnight on August 8.

Beyond our sunny shores, Sam has flexed his comedy chops around the world, making the crowds in Melbourne, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Oman, and more roar with laughter. His signature brand of comedy – a unique concoction of jokes, storytelling, and improvised humour – has also graced the stage of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Comedy Central's The Jim Jefferies Show. Did we mention the legendary comedians he's worked with such as Dara O'Briain and Bert Kreischer?

Now, let Sam See reveal life as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in Singapore through humour in Coming Out Loud. Tickets for the live premiere screening are available at $7, and each ticket includes a live post-show Q&A session as well as a copy of the Premium Package. What's in the Premium Package, you say? For $4.99, it includes Behind the Closet, a retrospective where Sam is interviewed by comedian, director, and producer Quen Wong, as well as never-before-seen footage of Sam's debut comedy set. The Basic Package, on the other hand, comes with just the special at $2.99.
