Time Out says

You're in for a hellish good time at the new LGBTQ+ nightclub, Hell. Located on Telok Ayer Street, this venue models itself after its interpretation of hell – not as a place of suffering, but a place of pleasure and paradise.

"A lot of times, people think that love should only be between a man and a woman, and we feel that this is definitely a social construct, just like how many would think that heaven is paradise and hell is a place of suffering," says founder Jasper Goh. Club Hell is instead a safe space, where such social constructs don't matter, and everything is up to interpretation.

Hell nightclub launched this past weekend, welcoming a full house of sinners and revellers on December 16. Resident DJs @clammr and @pepperoniguy took a spin at the decks, while @salomeblaque and queens from @catchusmoveparty fired up the stage. Club Hell expects to throw almost weekly live performances with talents from the community – otherwise, you can come down to enjoy a variety of themed nights with music ranging from pop and R&B to techno and house.

There'll be stiff drinks to get your blood pumping too. Hell's signature is the Meng Po Tang, which is inspired by a Mandarin tale of the "forget your life drink" that souls consume before reincarnation. Be warned though – this boozy concoction contains seven different types of alcohol served in a bowl.

Door tickets to Hell will be made available every Friday, Saturdays , eve of public holidays and public holidays from 10pm onwards. The club will also be releasing tickets online the day before party nights, so keep your eyes on its Instagram page @club.hell.sg.
