Raise a toast to Arnold Palmer, Ariya Jutanugarn, John Daly, and other golf superstars at the Thai-influenced Legends Bar. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding scenes of picturesque golf courses at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, the inviting drinking lounge comes decked out with lush foliage and soothing wood-toned fixtures.
And even the cocktail menu is an ode to the sport, with drinks that pay homage to some of the biggest golfing legends. Mango Madre ($18), a tropical take on the usual martini, comes inspired by Ariya Jutanugarn, the first Thai golfer to win a major championship. Homemade mango syrup is mixed with vodka and vermouth to lend a touch of sweetness to the refreshing libation.
Your Daly Smash ($18) comes named after John Daly, and the long backswings he takes to smash his tee shots. Here, gin is mixed with an alluring mix of spices – chilli padi tincture and basil agave – to result in something highly smashable. Teetotallers aren’t forgotten, either. Arnold Palmer ($12) is an easy-to-love, Thai-centric take on the clubhouse classic; lemongrass is used in place of lemonade and finished with tonic water and homemade pineapple syrup.
Besides cocktails, the well-stocked bar also serves up a range of beers on tap, wines, sake, gin, rum, and more. Feeling peckish? Bar bites feature Western-style wagyu-stuffed sliders ($25) and Italian cold cuts ($35), alongside Asian plates of crispy pork rind ($8) and dried lotus root tossed in tom yum seasoning ($6).
