Sharing a duplex unit with Italian restaurant, Aura, Sky Lounge is Beppe de Vito's all-day dining spot on the rooftop of the City Hall Wing of the National Gallery Singapore.
A raw bar filled with Mediterranean salads and cold dishes is served daily for all-you-can-eat lunches ($18) – de Vito says that dishes like wild rice salad with beans and olive tepenade, and grilled endives with truffle vinaigrette and hazelnuts are designed in the same vein as Yotam Ottolenghi's fresh meals – and at night, bar nibbles like oyster sliders ($18) and lobster claw roll ($28) accompany the selection of cocktails (from $16), wines and spirits (from $10). An European high tea bridges the two main meals from 2.30-5.30pm, offering diners an $18-a-person set of sandwiches and pastries.
