Remember 1-Altitude bar? The popular rooftop bar and lounge was known for its panoramic views of the city and was also home to fine-dining restaurant Stellar. Well, good news – because 1-Altitude will be reopening at Sentosa on September 5 under a new name: 1-Altitude Coast.
erched at the top of The Outpost Hotel, the new concept boasts a rooftop bar and doubles up as a day club as well. Not forgetting the swimming pool, where you can lounge with a view of the Singapore Straits. Contemporary Asian food dishes will be served at the 1-Altitude Day Club with highlights like the salmon tartare with wasabi, avocado, and watermelon and chilli soft shell crab pasta. On weekends, look forward to barbecued meats and vegetables.
Sip on tropical-inspired cocktails with outrageous names like the Ultra Violet Scorpion and Smokey Sea Monkey and chill out to tropical house music in the background. Afro beats will fill the air in the evening and house and electro-pop will take over once the sun sinks below the horizon. Resident DJs helming the decks include Tony Tay and Erica Kay. Tony Tay has played at Zouk Singapore for 14 years while Erica Kay (aka Kaylova) has performed alongside international artists like Sander Van Doorn.
You can expect more good times at 1-Altitude Coast, as the space will also be hosting themed events like sundown parties and Ladies' Day Out. It's not all about the party and booze either – wellness classes such as sunrise yoga and meditation sessions will also be part of the programming.
