Mayday Land installations
You may not be able to meet your idols in person, but here’s the next best thing for fans of Taiwanese band Mayday. Adorable chibi-style statues of the band’s five members – Monster, Ashin, Stone, Masa, and Ming – have landed at Stadium Riverside Walk after touring other cities in the region, as part of the lead-up to the rock quintet’s #5525 25th anniversary concert here this January. They’re now free for the public to snap photos with – though we suggest heading here before the concert happens on the 11th and 12th, because it’ll probably be extra crowded with diehard Mayday fans on those two days.
