Gillman Barracks’ The Forest Institute

At Gillman Barracks, The Forest Institute presents an architectural installation that intertwines urban reality with nature. Created by artist Robert Zhao Ren Hui and architect-artist Randy Chan, the large-scale installation invites visitors to explore the nocturnal mysteries of the forests surrounding Gillman Barracks. Located at the Forest Observation Room, guests can admire unique flora and fauna up close, or explore the River Platform. Visitors are encouraged to sign up for special programmes including morning nature walks with the artist.
