Fort Tanjong Katong

Fort Tanjong Katong was built in the 1880s and was initially designed to protect Singapore from potential Russian attacks. The fort was buried in the late 1960s when it was rendered obslete, but was recovered in 2001 and is now preserved as one of Singapore’s historical landmarks.
