Time Out says

The pandemic has left many businesses around the world in peril. Even local labels have not escaped unscathed. But for one particular label, it managed to make it through its eighth year in existence. Some might even brand it lucky.

The brainchild of husband-wife duo Fahmy and Erliana, Fin Crafted Goods (Fin) is throwing its eighth birthday bash from August 28 to 30 – and everyone's invited, so long as they RSVP online. The label is known for its bespoke, handcrafted aprons, made specially for local restaurants and cafes. It's also known for its boro mending craft that advocates sustainability by repairing or up-cycling used clothes and bags – all in the name of prolonging its use and reducing waste.

Unlike your usual party, Fin is going into its eighth year with an art exhibition show aptly called The Lucky Eighth. In collaboration with local line art illustrator Alex Lim, aka The Slim Lim, the exhibition is set to take over the label's studio space where all 18 pieces of artwork are displayed. The collection is inspired by the customers and friends of Fin, so you might even find one of yourself if you're lucky (pun intended).

These art pieces are also available to cop online as well as at the event itself. Plus, you can show your support even further by copping merchandise such as t-shirts and bags via the online store.

If you're planning to head down for some art, coffee, and great company, be sure to RSVP online to help minimise overcrowding at the venue. Like any other venue, safety measures including social distancing apply. For more information, visit fincraftedgoods.com.
