STPI's Creative Workshop has continually pushed the boundaries of regional and international art through its residency programme with international artists on works in the mediums of print and paper. From August 13 to November 20, rediscover works from past collaborations under the umbrella of Print Screen at pop-up space ArtSpace @ HeluTrans.
The first component of Print Screen will showcase the works from artists Isabel & Alfredo Aquilizan(Philippines, based in Australia) and Melati Suryodarmo (Indonesia). The print and paper works on show represent the artists' stepping beyond their usual mediums of interactive installation art and performance art respectively, resulting from their unique collaborative experience at STPI.
In tandem, Print Screen will showcase films by the artists and films related to the artists work in a screening room at the pop-up space. Expect to learn more about the artists' inspiration, processes, their experience at the STPI residency, and how it has shaped their artistic journey.
Print Screen will include a showcase by a third artist, to be announced later this year. Entry to the exhibition is free at ArtSpace @ HeluTrans.
