Stone Stacks

Award-winning artist Stefanie Hauger's solo exhibition Stone Stacks marks her departure from the use of acrylic paint which was once her medium of choice. Instead, she returns to oil and a more painterly, narrative approach in this series which is a reflection of the challenges she confronted in 10 years of her life. Featuring brush strokes in energetic colours, each painting represents one of these years and acts as a landmark of soul-searching, burying unwanted emotions and remnants of pain.
