Celebrate Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s 100th birth anniversary at Art Porters Gallery with an exhibition hosted by Tanjong Pagar Community Club, running from September 13 to September 26. The show will feature Mr Lee’s personal art collection against a backdrop created by Japanese artist Saki.
There will also be a special event happening on September 16 where you’ll get to meet Dr Victor Savage, co-author of the book Singapore Street Names, A Study of Toponymics, between 3 to 5pm. Find out how our country’s neighbourhood street names, such as Spottiswoode, Blair, Everton, Neil and Kampong Bahru, came about.
