Greek myth gets a re-run in this installation by the French-born, Bangkok-based architect François Roche, his firm New-Territories/M4 and RMIT University. The multi-disciplinary piece reappropriates the Ancient Greek tradition of Pythia (read: an oracle who enters a trance to deliver prophecies), except in this case, desire and hedonism come into the picture. Read between the lines and you’ll discover a critique of advertising, materialism and greed – in other words, the modern-day orgy.
